Most social profiles are a bio and a photo. A Suede Social profile is a rig: the guitars, amps, pedals, and tunings you actually use, recorded in a structured card other members can read at a glance. It’s harder to posture with a signal chain than with a bio, which is the point.
Building your Rig Card
- 01Open Settings → RigAdd instruments, amps, and pedals. You control the order the chain reads in.
- 02Keep it current, not completeThe card is a snapshot of what you play now, not an inventory of everything you own. A four-item card you actually use beats a forty-item museum.
- 03Share itYour profile URL is social.suedeai.ai/your-handle. The share button copies a link with a preview card.
Derived stats
Alongside the gear you enter, a profile can show derived fields — a rig fingerprint, top tuning, genre lean, BPM band, practice diligence, session count, and setup baseline. These are computed from your activity, and every one of them has its own visibility toggle.
Per-field privacy
Each field on your profile can be set to one of three levels:
- Public — anyone can see it, signed in or not.
- Followers — visible only to members who follow you.
- Studio — private to you.
Defaults favor privacy. Nothing derived from your activity is published without you switching it on, and you can change any field’s level at any time in Settings.
